This 'Neuro Encabulator' is a 1/1 colorway within an LE10 edition of mixed color Aerosol and acrylic embellishment on 17.5" x 12.5" 270gsm light pink Cansen stock. Signed and numbered.
PS: This one is a Neon Red fill with Plum line layer - these colors are apparently incredibly hard to accurately photograph, color in these product images are very close to IRL.
A note on stencil prints: a little overspray should always be expected. The “best one” isn’t always the cleanest, and while I try to keep it under a certain threshold, I allow/favor a bit here and there. It makes each one unique and obviates its handmade-ness. It is also damn near impossible to achieve absolutely none, that’s what silkscreens are for - but these are not those. Stencils have always been a dominant medium in my art-life as they are raw and more immediate, and in most cases (i hope) the line-work shines thru any perceived inconsistencies caused by overspray and the nature of the medium.
